Dray Flow models a load as an ordered sequence of legs. Each leg carries its own driver, truck, and chassis and moves through its own status, so a relay, a chassis flip, or a street turn is something you record, not something you work around.
One load becomes a sequence of legs
A load is rarely a single A-to-B trip. Build it into ordered legs: a pickup, a delivery, an empty return, a yard pull in between. Each leg keeps its own sequence number under one load, so the whole move lives in one record instead of three jobs you stitch together by memory.
Driver, truck, and chassis per leg
Assignment happens at the leg, not the load. Bind a different driver, truck, and chassis to each step, so a hand-off from one driver to the next is a planned change you record, not a text you hope someone reads. The right asset rides with the right leg.
Live status across the full leg flow
Every leg moves through the same status flow: pending, planned, dispatched, en route to pickup, at pickup, loaded, en route to delivery, at delivery, and completed. Exception states cover failed, partial, and cancelled. The board reflects where each leg actually is, not where it was an hour ago.

A “seat” is a back-office user. Your own seat is free on every plan, and drivers are always free and never count as seats. An AI seat is $199 total, the seat itself is included. Add-ons are priced per company, not per seat. No long-term contracts. Cancel anytime; a cancelled subscription regresses to the free plan; loads, drivers, and history stay. Prices exclude applicable taxes.

How does load assignment work in Dray Flow?
Assignment happens at the leg, and it stays under your control. Pick a driver, truck, and chassis for each leg by hand, or select a batch of loads on the Unassigned board and put one driver on every unassigned leg across them in a single pass. With a paid AI seat, the AI assistant can make the same assignments from a plain-English command, and the optional Pool Dispatch add-on lets drivers claim pre-built units themselves. There is no black-box auto-dispatch: the software does the bookkeeping, you make the call.
Is the dispatch board really free?
Yes. The free plan is $0 forever with unlimited loads and unlimited drivers, one back-office seat, the driver mobile app, CSV import and export, bulk actions, the calendar view, and all five boards: Unassigned, Queue, In Progress, Completed, and Alerts. What is a TMS?
A transportation management system. It is the software a trucking company runs its operation on: the loads you haul, the drivers and trucks that haul them, the customers you haul for, and the paperwork behind each move. Dray Flow is a TMS with an AI assistant built in.
What is a trucking dispatch board?
A dispatch board is the live picture of every load you are running: what is planned, what is ready to go out, what is moving right now, and what needs attention. Dray Flow splits that picture into five boards, and every leg on them carries its own driver, equipment, and status, from pending through completed.
Can drivers update status from their phones?
Yes. Drivers get a free mobile app and never count as a paid seat. As a driver moves through a leg, arriving, loading, and delivering, the status they set rolls straight onto the board, so the In Progress view reflects the road instead of the last phone call.
Does it only work for container drayage?
No. The board is freight-agnostic: dry van, reefer, flatbed, tanker, heavy haul, intermodal, and container drayage all run through the same legs and the same status flow. Dray Flow started in drayage, which is why the board models multi-leg moves so carefully, but nothing about it is container-only.
Is my data secure and private?
Every account's data is isolated at the database level, so one carrier can never see another's loads, drivers, or financials. We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and an audit trail that records who changed what on your operational records. Your operational data is never sold or shared.
