One back-office seat
Free covers a single owner-operator running the dispatch themselves. Adding a dispatcher or billing person means moving to Pro, and on Pro every back-office seat bills, yours included. Drivers are not seats and never count, so this is only about back-office users.
AI on live data is a 7 day trial, then Pro
In your demo the AI does everything: assign drivers, update loads, answer money questions, all on sample data. Going live comes with a one-time free 7 day AI trial on your own freight, started whenever you choose, so your first real week can run with the full assistant. After the trial the AI dispatcher is part of Pro; the free plan keeps the whole core TMS and you keep running the same boards yourself.
Pro-only power tools stay visible, not hidden
The brokerage desk, analytics, driver messaging, the calendar view, bulk actions on the loads list, and AI document intake for BOLs and rate cons are Pro features. On free they show as locked rather than disappearing, so you always know what an upgrade unlocks. CSV import and export are free, and so is batch assigning in Dispatch: your data is yours, in and out.
Try Pro with nothing to lose
If you ever upgrade to Pro and later cancel, your account does not lock you out and it does not get wiped. It simply regresses to the free plan. Every load, driver, customer, carrier, and record stays exactly where it was.
